Guess who got the lion’s share of European Commission early-career science grants? Britain. The country that’s leaving the European Union won 79 of the 406 awards, a big chunk of the 605 million euros ($718 million) in funding distributed throughout the bloc. Unsurprisingly, the U.K. wants to keep contributing to science projects after Brexit, though this will be subject to negotiations.
