President-elect Donald Trump has narrowed his search for Director of National Intelligence to three choices: retiring-Senator Dan Coats, former George W. Bush homeland security adviser Frances Townsend and National Security Agency Director and U.S. Navy Admiral Michael Rogers, according to a top transition source.

Trump met with Coats, a Republican from Indiana, at Trump Tower on Wednesday to discuss the position, according to the source, who requested anonymity because the selection hasn’t been finalized. Earlier this week, Trump met with Townsend.
