Kendall Jenner Settles Fraud Suit Over Fyre Fest Instagram Promo

Kendall Jenner has agreed to pay $90,000 to settle a bankruptcy court lawsuit over a 2017 Instagram post promoting the failed Fyre Festival.

The agreement filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York frees Jenner from a fraud suit brought by the liquidating trustee for Fyre Festival LLC. The case alleged that the Hollywood influencer received $275,000 for a single Instagram post promoting the luxury festival in the Bahamas without revealing that she was paid as an advertiser.
