Ivan Gazidis was just months into his role as chief executive officer of AC Milan SpA when he saw two of the Italian soccer clubās Black players subjected to racist chants from rival fans.
Stamping out similar behavior could help make Italian soccer an international brand as valuable as the English Premier League, said Gazidis, who was installed after U.S. billionaire Paul Singerās Elliott Management Corp. bought the team two years ago.
