Too many debates end with regrets about the important questions that were never asked. Bloomberg Opinion columnists had suggestions on ones that should definitely make the cut when President Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden take the stage on Tuesday evening.

The Supreme Court

In 1869, Congress fixed the size of the Supreme Court at nine justices. Some Democrats have suggested that the court should be expanded, adding justices to respond to past Republican hardball tactics on judicial confirmations.
