The U.S. Justice Department said a grand jury added new charges against three men accused of conspiring to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

In the new indictment, released Wednesday, the men are accused of planning to blow up a highway bridge near the governor’s vacation home, in an effort to hinder the response by law enforcement to the kidnapping. One of the men ordered $4,000 of explosives from an undercover FBI agent, according to the indictment.
