Homeschooling surges across the U.S. and it might be here to stay
The pandemic-fueled rise in homeschooling may continue in the U.S. as some parents are choosing to stick with it even as in-person classes resume. The number of U.S. households that homeschooled doubled in 2020. The rate increased by 6-times in Black households, rising from 3.3% in spring 2020 to 16.1% in the fall. Some parents say they found homeschooling more beneficial for their children.
