THE GOLDEN REVOLUTION, REVISITED
Since John Butler penned The Golden Revolution in 2012, the chaos that has engulfed the US and European financial system has elicited multi-billion dollar fines for mega banks and another half decade of "emergency" monetary measures by central banks. These have prolonged rather than corrected a global state of unprecedented financial risk. Butler not only exposes the folly of the underlying, dollar-centric paradigm that promotes such instability, but in exquisite detail steeped in historical support, he effectively argues why the remonetization of gold is more imperative now than ever. The Golden Revolution, Revisited is an absolute "must read!"
- Nomi Prins, Author of All the Presidents' Bankers
One of the most frightening aspects of the current environment is the consensus view that central banks have saved the world from the crisis. In this book, John Butler completely debunks that myth. However, he does not stop with a solid, bulletproof argument against the insanity of extreme monetary policy and zero interest rates. Rather, he presents a strong case to defend the economy and the average citizen from the assault against savings, and he offers real, practical solutions.
The Golden Revolution was an excellent book. The Golden Revolution, Revisited is simply essential today, and should be mandatory reading for any person interested in the future of the global economy and in the preservation of wealth."
- Daniel Lacalle, Phd Economist and author of Escape from the Central Bank Trap, Life In The Financial Markets and The Energy World Is Flat
Investors today face challenges on numerous fronts, the most urgent being the lack of sound money and monetary policies on the part of the world's central banks. John Butler's The Golden Revolution Revisited provides readers with a thorough discussion of the "monetary metal" and offers an intriguing insight into the future of our money, and our markets. Highly recommended.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2017Few books explain in such detail the current economic environment and the risks we face. John Butler's The Golden Revolution was an essential read, but many things have happened since then and the abundant changes and updates make this an even more essential reading. In fact, it is an entirely new book and a fascinating forward-thinking analysis. A true page-tuner. Why the need for an update? Because since then, complacency has taken over the market and we hear again things like"this time it's different" and "there is no risk. John Butler has turned an important book into a classic.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2017A reviewer stated the arguments given are "old arguments" - I could not disagree more. The reason to read The Golden Revolution is because John is a student of monetary history. In my experience, those who have studied monetary history provide some of the most helpful food for thought - and John is a prime example of that. In my view, John is brilliant in how he puts pieces of the puzzle together.
Oh, and the book looks great on the coffee table or book shelf.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is brilliant like the original is brilliant.
It's interesting to see this book come to life in the real world. Covid19 could prove to be the Black Swan event that pushes the global reserve dollar over the edge. Watch central bankers early 2021. The culmination of 50 years of pure fiat currency could be over and money restored.
