The head of the United Nations called global vaccination inequity “an obscenity” as U.S. President Joe Biden was set to announce an order of 500 million doses of Pfizer Inc.’s shot for export to the rest of the world.

A booster dose of Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine provided 100% protection against severe disease when given two months after the first one in a trial.
