Next China: Testing Covid Zero

It’s been a trying week for those clinging to the idea that Covid-19 can be stamped out.

Take Hong Kong, which had kept the virus away from its general population for months through its notorious quarantine requirements. After successfully avoiding a single Delta variant outbreak, the city has now seen Omicron break through its defenses.
