These Are This Summer’s 13 Best New Restaurants in the Hamptons

For much of the world, the Hamptons in New York’s Long Island will look like some bling-filled version of Groundhog Day: Day in and day out, the streets are packed with high-net-worth individuals and their cars, the pools don’t stop sparkling, and the lines to get into Montauk clubs never get shorter on the East End.

Yet things do change. Home prices fell this year for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic began. One thing that’s always fresh is the lineup of new restaurants throwing open their doors for summer throngs. Every year operators dash in to launch new places, and the fight to score tables gets fierce.
