Somalia Leaders Agree to Begin Universal Suffrage By 2024

Somalia will institute a direct, one person, one-vote election system starting in 2024, Sonna, the national news agency, reported on Sunday.
“Leaders agreed to run the power to the public to elect their leaders and representatives,” said President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud, according to Sonna.
