Do geopolitics matter at all for investors? Many say no, and assuming total disaster is avoided (you didn’t want to have money in Russia or China before their revolutions, or Germany or Austria before their defeats in world wars), they are right. Mexico, which goes to the polls on Sunday and will almost certainly elect its first female president, is a perfect example.
